With obesity on the rise is America, do we really think that we are all a size 2? Come on! The real story is that clothing manufacturers decide what size to call the clothing, and they know you will buy more in a size 2 even if you are really a size 8. So, to be sure, you need to be able to get your measurments taken and keep that as your gage. Measure your bust, waist, and hips. That way you will have an idea of where you fall.

A company will design a pair of jeans, they will sew up a sample in a certain size. A model will come in and try on the sample. After the style has been sold to the stores, it will need to be mass produced. The fit is cirtical to the sale of the garment.
